Each of the 57 hand-set stones on the ring have meaning: 40 stones represent the 40 years of Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey; 16 stones represent each of the Western Hockey League Playoff victories that ultimately resulted in the WHL Championship. The single marquise stone located in the cup of the trophy represents the first-ever WHL Championship in franchise history.
The face of the ring has a beautiful Blue Spinel stone with a custom metal top featuring the WHL trophy and the Thunderbirds logo raised and polished showcasing incredible craftmanship.
The left side of the ring features the "No Weak Links" slogan that was the theme of the 2016-17 season. On the right side of the ring, the team pays homage to the city and the fans with the stunning Seattle Space Needle and mountainous background. The WHL trophy sits in front of the Seattle Space Needle showing that the team has brought the WHL Championship trophy home.
The ring sides also feature a beautiful natural satin finish with a hockey skate mark theme.
